Feast your eyes on this sable coated beauty…. My name’s Mia and I am from the Notts area.

Sadly for me I found myself dumped in a local dog pound with very little hope in sight.

I did eventually bag myself this rescue space so at least I had a chance to stay alive now the really hard part was trying to track down that magical illusive thing called a forever home.

Let me tell you a few things about myself to try and tempt you. I am fully vaccinated, chipped and spayed.
I love people, all the folk I have met so far have been fab. Not met any of the small shrieking humans but let’s be honest who wants to live with them?! I wouldn’t mind some of those older ones who play footie with you…I would love that.

As far as other dogs go, I’m not a huge fan.To be honest I don’t feel confident or comfy around them so I shout at them to stay away which works for me but my person on the lead tells me off and says it is not necessary and that everything is fine…..well that is a matter of opinion so on that score I am an only dog please.

I am getting much better on my lead and head collar and hear far more good girls than I did when we started. I like being called a good girl and need a lead person to carry on with my training so I can be a good girl all the time.

I did go and stay with a lovely lady called Jayne and her other dog but I really struggled with sharing anti did not work out which I was sad about but hey sometimes that’s how things are.

If you have been home checked and passed fit to own one of us gorgeous creatures then please with either of my Aunties- Allison or Lizzy who will have your paperwork to pass go and come and visit me.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
