May I introduce Sadie who was 1 in May. She is microchipped and up to date with vaccinations. Not yet spayed but currently in season so could be spayed November. Being rehomed due to a relationship break down meaning Mum is not able to give her the time she deserves with 2 young children.

Sadie is good with the children aged 2 and 8, currently lives with another dog and a cat. We are told she is good with other dogs but can get over playful which some owners mistake for reactivity. Her owner feels she would chase cats out and about.

Sadie can be left a few hours and has been in her home since a pup. Good on lead with recall and basic commands, she is clicker trained. No issues over food or toys.

“Very calm dog – played in garden. Good condition. Trained to sit, stay and has good recall. No reaction to me arriving – did not bark during my stay. No reaction to the doorbell. No aggression at all. Lives with another dog and cat and 3 young children.”

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
