May I introduce AJ who is 3 years old, neutered, microchipped and vaccinations have been started. We were asked to take him in after he had been seized by the police as a welfare case.

AJ is a big lad (its not just his ears) but is a really sweet and friendly boy. No young children as we do not know his history. Has not reacted to any of the dogs at kennels so far but more socialisation will be done. Unknown with cats.

This is what one of our volunteers said meeting him on the day he arrived:

“AJ has it all, good looks, friendly, commands, sits without asking, takes treats gently, good recall, pleasure to walk !!”

Can you give this handsome lad a home please?

AJ was adopted but was returned to the kennels because he was out on a long line, chased a squirrel and dislocated his adopter’s finger.

AJ now known as Teddy has been adopted by his foster family.

Beautiful Teddy has passed over Rainbow Bridge.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
