Well what can I say about this lad? We had a phone call from a vet to say Alfie had been handed in and needed a rescue a space. The vet said Alfie was a German Shepherd cross Collie! No comment, but of course we could not leave him without hope.
Apparently Alfie had been living on the streets with a homeless man who decided to give him to one of the workers at the local supermarket. He told them he fed him lettuce! Having scanned Alfie the vet discovered he was microchipped so contacted the lady on his register to be told she had given the dog away 2 years ago and was not interested. Alfie is only 3!
Alfie is not neutered or vaccinated yet (but will be). He is a loving and sweet natured lad and very well socialised having spent most of his life in the public domain. Is currently in foster with 5 other dogs who is fine with. He just wants to play but can get a bit fruity however accepts being told to get lost by the girls. Will need lead training but knows his name.
This energetic and friendly lad will make a super addition to someone’s family!
Alfie has found that special home to call his own!
