Bella is a lovely 2½ year old GSD (mum) crossed with a Belgian Malinois (dad) and she is full of lots of energy! She loves her exercise and being kept active, with stick and ball throwing or just chasing after birds. Although we’re not aware of any aggression, she is extremely verbal to visitors and along with her continued excitement and energy she jumps up at visitors and family. A lot! And due to her power, has knocked over visitors in the past.

She’s proving too much to handle for her current family as she needs more exercise from an adult only household who can give her focus and keep her busy and active. She knows lots of commands, but needs continued work and consistency, especially with the jumping up. She is treat orientated, so in the right hands could be trained properly to handle this. She’s grown up around children and a cat, but due to her enthusiasm and jumping up, we’d recommended that she is not rehomed with them.

She is microchipped, fully vaccinated and has been spayed. She does have food aggression around her food bowl, but not with treats or toys and she’s more than happy to hand you a toy to play with her. She’s not been socialised with other dogs, so this needs careful introduction and continued work.

Bella would be suited to an experienced household who know how to train, can give her plenty of exercise and activities, and can ensure she knows where she stands in the pack. If this sounds like you can give this lovely energetic girl a home, please get in touch.
