We were asked to take in this sweet little girl and although we were full to bursting we obviously said yes!
Please meet ‘Bonnie’ who found herself in the stray pound, homeless and unloved.
Bonnie is a very petite little girl, she is 2 years old, quite underweight and is in need of lots of tlc.
It’s very obvious that Bonnie has recently had a litter, such a shame as she is only still a baby herself.
She has made someone some money and then she’s been thrown out… this is now the world that we live in!
This pretty little girl loves everyone, she is very polite and thrives on attention.
Bonnie has been out for walks with the other dogs, she is a bit of a happy yapper for the first five minutes or so but we guess that she’s just excited about going out for a walk.
She has been ok walking near traffic, she has passed people without any problem but she will yap at passing dogs, we are working on this and she is doing better already.
We do think that with the right intros she would be ok to live alongside a neutered male.
We cannot cat test but she does have a high prey drive.
With regards to children we will have to say older only as she is an ex poundie with no history.
Bonnie would like an active home where she will get the exercise and training that she needs. She has already shown us how well she can behave so in the right home she would make someone a fantastic companion.
