1. Daisy May

Well what can I say about this young lady. One of our RSPCA contacts asked if we could help: “I’m with the Croydon dog warden and they have a nervous young white GSD. Her 7 days is up tomorrow and she’s looking for a place for her to go. Wondered...
  2. Zena

May I introduce Zena who will be 2 in October. She is microchipped and vaccinated, but not currently spayed. Zena has been in her home since a pup and is sadly being rehomed due to a domestic violence situation for her safety. Zena is good with other dogs, still an...
  3. Midnight

Please meet Midnight who will be 3 in November. Entire but vaccinated and microchipped. Lives with a bitch and one of his pups, but lunges and barks at every other dog he sees. He is good with the children he lives with but would suggest an adult home. He has...
  4. Max

Max will be 5 in September. This handsome lad is microchipped and neutered and we are told vaccinated. Max has been in his home since a pup and is sadly being rehomed due to a necessary marital break up meaning mum cannot give him the time he deserves and is...
  5. Dax

May I introduce Dax who was born 15.3.25. Fully vaccinated and microchipped. He has been in his home since 8 weeks but Dad has had a change in his personal circumstances and realised he could not give Dax all he needed so wanted what was best for him so made...
  6. Luna

This poor girl came from the dog pound to us in a dreadful state. She was all but emaciated, saggy boobs from being over bred, but do you know what she had the personality of a lioness, as strong as an ox in her mind and has survivor written all...
  7. Sable

Sable is a very pretty GSD, another dog sadly on the homeless pile. This beautiful girl has settled straight in at the kennels and she is already a favourite amongst the volunteers. Sable is around 2 years old, she is chipped and about to start her vaccinations, we doubt that...
  8. Lucky

We were contacted by an RSPCA Officer to see if we could help this young lad. Lucky needed a new home as his owners were moving into rented accommodation where he would not be allowed. “Lucky shows promise in the working dog area, very protective of family and children, toy...
  9. Bailey

Bailey will be 4 in December. He is neutered and microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. He has been with his current owner 6 months after she took him in from someone who was not exercising him enough and he spent much of his time on the balcony...
  10. Diesel

This lovely lad is Diesel who found himself in the stray system having been found tied up to a gate of a livery yard. His coat was in an awful state, he was skinny, so obviously had not been cared for properly for quite a while. Now safely with us,...

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
