1. Logan

Whilst we’ve all been enjoying the bank holiday weekend, the Notts team have welcomed a new face to the club. Meet Logan, a lovely little boy that needs everyone’s help to get him a home. He’s a fabulous boy that isn’t reactive to dogs (if anything he just wants to...
  2. Vina

This gorgeous young lady found herself in council kennels and with no microchip had no chance of an owner wanting to reclaim her. Vina is a GSD cross Mali. She is just a teenager who is full of life and energy but also a sweet girl with everyone she has...
  3. Katana

We were alerted to this lovely little girl needing a new home by another rescue and could not say no. Katana was 2 in September. She is microchipped and vaccinations are now up to date and she is also now spayed. Katana was initially meant to be a support dog...
  4. Max

  8. Logan

Logan was 4 in December. Not quite a full GSD. He is neutered and microchipped and fully vaccinated. Logan has been with his family since 5 weeks of age having been rescued from a puppy farm, so did not have the best start in life. Having to be rehomed as...
  9. Loki

This handsome young lad is Loki who is still just a baby. We were asked by a contact if we could help as this poor lad has spent most of his life kept in a plastic bike shed only being let out a couple of times a day to toilet!...
  10. Freya

May I introduce Freya who was 4 in February. She is microchipped, vaccinated and microchipped. Freya has been in her home since a pup but is sadly being rehomed as her temperament is not conducive with a young child in the house plus her owners will be moving to a...

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
