May I introduce Coco who is about 14 months old and a GSD cross. Spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Being rehomed as the family are having to move to a property which will only allow one dog. This is her story:
“Coco came to the family at just 5 months old, this is a believed age. She is a beautiful looking dog, beautiful face and eyes. She is believed to have come from a drug den and possibly used for fear/protection. She came with no previous known history or medical history. She is a nervous dog on my approach. She was very protective of her female owner and indeed looked to her for protection and reassurance.
She lives in a house with young kids, and old Lab and cats. According to the owner the cats put her in her place. Coco needs to understand boundaries and to relax which will come as she matures. She has clearly had lots of love and support in her second hoe and I’m sure if rehomed she will be able to trust others despite her rocky start. Since the current owners got her, she has been spayed, had her injections and has monthly flea and 3 monthly worming.
Would suit a home able to take her on long walks and ball play to work on her energy. Not suited to a home with a senior dog I’d say, unless these boundaries are instilled and maintained. Was not treat orientated during my visit.”
Coco has been rehomed by her owner.
