Have a look at this beauty, her name is Daisy, she is approx. 3/4yrs, spayed, fully vaccinated and chipped.
Daisy came to us from a pound, she has a fabulous temperament and has been great with everyone she has met at the kennels, she is fine to walk on lead with other dogs as long as they do not get too close and in her face, Daisy is a definite no with other dogs after a few altercations already it would not be safe.
However Daisy did briefly get adopted and for the first week was fine in the home and with her owners. Only when a friend came to visit she was at first fine but after a short time she became protective over her owners and did attempt to lunge and grab the clothing of their visitor so any future homes need to be aware of this so they can work with it accordingly.
Poor daisy has once again found herself back with us in kennels, very sad for us but much worse for her.
After being in her adopted home for over a 18 month they no longer think they can work with Daisy. Apparently there has been a few incidents in the home with family members and most recently a post lady, although it wasn’t clear exactly what happened but she entered the garden and Daisy either scratched her or nipped her.
Daisy is a very sensitive dog and does need time to get to know people and obviously will protect her home if not told otherwise by her owners.
Daisy really does not cope at all in kennels and after just 24hrs she is very stressed, screaming, crying and becoming very nervous of everything.
She needs a pet/ child free home with people who are GSD experienced and can manage and help her manage her insecurities .
Daisy has been adopted by her foster home.
