Dora is just 1 year old. She is spayed and microchipped but we believe vaccinations are out of date. She is living with a 2 year old child with no problems, but due to her boisterousness would be best in a home with older children only. Not had much socialisation, or rather lacks manners with other dogs. Dora runs up to them and barks in their face although has not shown any aggression. She does live with a cat but chases it so a cat free home please.
Dora can be nervous when meeting new people. In the street she will bark at people passing, and in the home will bark and jump up. This can be intimidating but she does soon calm down if ignored. She will need recall work and further lead training. Dora does not like being left for long periods so will need a home where someone is about most of the time.
Her owner is struggling to give her the boundaries and confidence she needs and with another baby on the way, feels she needs a home that has the time to invest in Dora which she cannot give.
Dora is a hyper energetic young lady who needs somebody who can give her the boundaries in the home and work with her. Very agile so could be a great agility dog!
Dora has found a home through another rescue.
