This lovely placid girl is 8 year Jess. Jess is not spayed but has just finished her season (mid June 2013). She is vaccinated and microchipped.

Jess walks nicely on a lead and has good basic commands. She is good with children and other dogs and not yet introduced to cats.

This poor lass is being rehomed as mum has left and she is being left alone 12 plus hours a day and does not like it. She also suffers from mild epilepsy so this situation is being exasperated.

Currently in foster she would love a retirement home of her own please.

The gorgeous Jess is now in her forever home!

Having spent many months getting her epilepsy medication just right, and having only had her for just under a year, the beautiful Jess developed a tumour on her liver and very sadly her family had to let her go to Rainbow Bridge.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
