This stunning lad is Krav who is just 7 years of age. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Krav has been with his owners since a pup and grown up with 2 young children. Fine with other dogs and ok with cats in the home. He may chase when out.
Typical shep, he will bark at the doorbell and the postman and delivery drivers, but when our volunteer visited, he greeted her in a friendly manner and just wanted a fuss. Will need some reminding of lead training as he has not been getting out as much as he should recently due to work and family, so does pull with excitement. Has recall and basic commands in Polish but does understand hand signals.
Krav is in good condition and travelled well in the car. Settled at the kennels quickly and in fact did not pull on the lead when walked there as it was all new. His owner says he does sometimes want to chase cars and buses so a rural home better for this lad.
Sad rehoming but sadly grandmother, who moved in recently, went to take a yoghurt pot off him and he turned and bit her. The family’s vet advised that he was therefore a risk to the children and should be put down. Fortunately his owners were happy for us to step in as they still regard Krav as their baby.
Krav has been adopted.
Krav, who was renamed Oskar, has passed over Rainbow Bridge.
