Lovely Lexi was picked up by police straying and taken to a vets where she was left and the dog warden refused to collect her and the police refused to take her anywhere else! Poor Lexi was suffering with mange which the vets fully treated during her 6 week stay with them.

Lexi is a super friendly girl and all the staff loved her. Playful and affectionate. She was a bit reactive with other dogs. Lexi is microchipped and accordingly she is 5 years old. Unknown if spayed but doubtful. Her vaccinations have been restarted. The first photo is from when she was at the vets.

Lexi needs a lot of muscle build up on her backend, but a super friendly girl with people who will make a great companion in a GSD home.

Lexi has been adopted.

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
