Max is a Malinois and is 5 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We were asked to take him in as his owner is moving abroad. This is what she has to say about him:

“We desperately need your help for rehoming our Mali Max. We are moving country shortly and had a new home for Max but they decided to change their mind.

Max is 5 year old Mali, fully trained, which we had as a puppy. Since the age of 3 months old he has been living with our other 2 dogs, a mastiff (who passed away a few months ago) and a 7 year old jack Russell as well as with 2 cats.

Max loves all human, adult and children but is not good with other animals.

He is a typical Mali, very intelligent and always happy to work and learn new trick. Due to an increase of work I haven’t been able to devote the necessary time with him.

We desperately need a good place where he can be properly assessed and rehomed. I have contacted all local rescue but they either can’t or don’t want to take him.”

Max is used to living with older children and whilst fine with the dogs he lived with, is reactive to other dogs when out which may be something that can be worked on. This lad needs a home that has experience with the breed please.

Max has now been adopted.

Max has sadly passed over Rainbow Bridge suddenly but had a wonderful life with his family.
