Romeo, Romeo…….looking for his very own Juliet! This older boy is sadly looking for a new pad at the ripe old age of 10 after being in the same home from a puppy.
He is sadly still entire, his vacs are out of date and he is chipped but still registered to his old address!
He hasn’t been walked in while as his mum can’t handle him and his dad has left and doesn’t want him – nice! He apparently barks and lunges at other dogs and can be protective when out on his lead. His owner says he would be fine with teenagers but we will assess each home and go from there. A no to cats.
He has seen some domestic violence and has reacted on a couple of occasions but our vollie found him to be a friendly lad who took treats gently, had his tummy rubbed and gave kisses.
He is a little unsteady on his hind legs due to muscle wastage which may well improve with exercise.
If you are the person who could offer this old gent his retirement pad then give us a shout!
UPDATE – Since being here with us he has started some meds to ease any pain he may have and we have noticed a big difference in his mobility and he is really enjoying his walks now so fingers crossed we can keep improving things for this old lad!
Romeo had a wonderful home for his last couple of years but has now passed over Rainbow Bridge.
