This lovely lad is Saxon but is looking for a new home as his present owner doesn’t feel she can offer him what he needs.

He is 5yrs, neutered, fully vaccinated and chipped.

Has never lived with children but has regularly walked with some who belong to a friend and has seemed ok with this.

He is said to be fine with other dogs but does need further socialising. A no to cats.Met horses on a walk and shown no interest.

Saxon does seem to be better with women than men so this will also need working on in his new home.

He does suffer with EPI but one tablet a day seems to keep this at bay and he is also insured which may be transferable to a new owner.

Saxon does pull initially on the lead but knows basic commands and has ok recall.

Can you offer this boy the time he needs to introduce him to everything?

Saxon is now in kennels and would love a foster or forever home of his own!

Sexy Sax has gone off to start his new life near the sea, good luck sweetheart!

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
