This young man, Shottie, is a Mali cross who was 1 in February. He is microchipped but still entire and vaccinations are out of date. Being rehomed as his female owner cannot cope with him, work, and a young child in and out of hospital.
Shottie is fine with children but can be over excited! Not really had interaction with other dogs, but when he sees them when out, he pulls on his lead to get to them which is probably more wanting to play than anything else. He does need further lead training and can be distracted from recall when out, but has basic commands.
Shottie has no malice in him and no possession issues, and will happily bring you his toys. Very food orientated which will help with training. Can be destructive when left but this young lad is obviously not getting enough mental or physical stimulation at present as he is also slightly over weight.
Shottie just needs an active home who can give him the time he needs for training and boundaries and give him the mental stimulation a lad of this age needs. Super fun and loving lad in exchange!
Shottie has been adopted.
