Skylar is 3 years old. She is spayed and microchipped and we are told she is vaccinated. Skylar has been with her family since February 2019.
Skylar is good with children of all ages but selective with other dogs and cannot tolerate small dogs at all. This does mean she needs to stay on lead when out and to be safe wear a muzzle. She does live with another GSD and until recently there have been no issues. Sadly their other GSD has hip problems so is on restricted exercise meaning Skylar has not been getting the exercise she needs either, and our volunteer felt she was under stimulated and bored which may have lead to the recent arguments with the other GSD.
Skylar is being rehomed as Dad is in the army and is due to be deployed in a few weeks, and having just had their first baby, cannot trust Skylar with their other GSD with only his wife to manage. Skylar walks nicely with a halti but is not let off lead anymore due to her hate of small dogs. Has basic commands.
A beautiful girl, wonderful with people, Skylar just needs a home that can give her the exercise and stimulation she needs whilst ensuring she is safely kept away from small dogs. Can you help her please?
Skylar has been taken in by another rescue.
