1. Kane

Kane was picked up as a stray and we are asked to take him in. Kane is 2 years old and is microchipped and vaccinations are being started. Now neutered. Kane is a big lad and from what we have seen so far, is very protective of his person. Unknown...
  2. Rocko

Rocko has now been adopted. Rocko has been with us at the Cheshire kennels since December 22. He is a fun and goofy dog once he knows you, he can still get a little over excited and mouth but stops when told or distracted with a toy. He has walked...
  3. Obie

May I introduce Obie who was born 17.10.19.  Vaccinations to be restarted but is microchipped and neutered. We were asked to take Obie in via another rescue contact as his family were struggling with him as he was showing nervous aggression. This lad has not had the socialisation he needs,...
  4. Kaiser

May I introduce Kaiser who we believe was born July 2020. This poor little man was picked up as a stray. He was microchipped but surprisingly it had never been registered and nobody claimed him so he came to us. Having picked up kennel cough as well he was very...
  5. Misha

The very beautiful Misha has come from another rescue, where we are told she’s had 3 homes already before arriving with them and she’s not yet 1! Misha is a Mali cross and is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Typical young Mali with loads of energy and drive and would suit...
  6. Jay

Feast your eyes on this lovely lad, he is only a baby at around 12/15 month old, and will still mouth if allowed to but does stop when you tell him. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and chipped. Jay came to us from another charity as he wasn’t doing well...
  7. Ted

Here we have Ted, 3 yrs old, still entire, fully vacs and chipped. Sadly this young pup has not had the best start in life and already has a lot of issues which is how he found himself here with us. Ted has zero confidence and will attach himself to...
  8. Cooper

Meet the very lovely Cooper. he is 3yrs old, neutered, fully vaccinated and chipped. We were asked to take this lad when apparently his owner could no longer manage or afford him. He had only been with us a few days and we noticed he had rather a bad limp...
  9. Poppy

Back in April 2020 we received this message from another rescue we work with to help Snap, Crackle and Pop as they are now named. “We were asked to help with these three young Shep pups after they ended up in need and they magically appeared at kennels today 🤷🏼‍♂️....
  10. Crackle

Back in April 2020 we received this message from another rescue we work with to help Snap, Crackle and Pop as they are now named. “We were asked to help with these three young Shep pups after they ended up in need and they magically appeared at kennels today 🤷🏼‍♂️....

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
