Say hello to Kano, 4yrs old, neutered, his vaccinations have run out so will need to start again, he is chipped.

We are told he is good with children of all ages, he is lead reactive to other dogs and will lunge to get to them, a no to cats, has seen livestock with no real interest.

He greeted our assessor once she was in and sat down with saggy tailed kisses.

Will need further lead training especially when around other dogs, knows his basic commands and recall is ok as long as no other distractions.

Sadly for Kano he is not getting anywhere near the stimulation he needs and is spending longer periods by himself which is only adding to his frustration and need for human company.

There was a small biting incident when he was at the owners partners house. Her ex came back earlier than expected with the children, Kano did not know him and ran out into the garden and nipped his arm. He then said the dog had to go as didn’t want him around the children who Kano adores. There are not been an incident before or since this.

Our assessor found him to be a lovely lad who really does want to please but sadly due to the lack of time he has spent with him he is missing out on so much.

He gets on really well with the GSD next door and also the 2 smaller dogs that live there.
