Stella and Jack are looking for a home together as they have lived together for the last 6 years. They have ended up in Rescue due to the elderly owners being unable to care for them. Both are now neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Unknown with young children or cats.

Both dogs were kept outside – in a secluded area with a non heated kennel. They slept on carpet as we were told they destroy any other type of bedding. Lately they had only been exercised a couple of times a week for a very short period.

Stella and Jack are pretty chilled dogs – will sleep for the day, sniff around or react by barking to people/other dogs walking by. Protective of their property and wary of strangers (onsite), but very friendly once they know you. Offsite, they can still be a little timid, but make friends very quickly.

They have not been in a commercial kennel environment before and are not crate-trained. They happily play-fight together, but have no issues with other dogs.

Jack is always a bit more timid than Stella and will follow her guidance; she can sometimes push him away to get all the attention, but then isn’t that normal bitch behaviour!

Stella has mild elbow dysplasia but otherwise both dogs are fit and healthy. They are very sweet and gentle and so deserve a home of their own where they can be a proper part of the family.

This lovely pair have found a home together.
