1. Koko

May I introduce Koko. She was microchipped but not registered! We were asked to take her in and this is what we were told: “I have a 2yr old female Mali cross that can be nervous of new people, she was brought into kennels due to owner being sectioned and another...

Eric came to us having been picked up as a stray. We believe he was only about 1 year old. He was microchipped but not registered. He was with the previous kennels a while as he arrived with mange which was fully treated. Now neutered and fully vaccinated. We are...

  8. Diesel

  9. Kola

“Since being with us Kola has come out her shell a lot, coming up for cuddles and kisses which didn’t take long at all. Kola loves the male dogs at the kennels and she is a bit of a tease. Kola can be very nervous meeting new people specially men...
  10. Axel

“Axel, now what can I say about this gorgeous boy who is one massive overgrown pup who doesn’t realize his size most of the time. Axel does have nervous aggression meeting people due to his rubbish start in life but he is better meeting people off lead in the paddock,...

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
