1. Reko

Reko is a GSD cross.  We have very little history on Reko but it is fair to say he is a very dominant lad who is very independent and not very trusting of people. Reko is very full on as you may expect and takes a while to get to...
  2. Max

Max is 3 years old, neutered, chipped and his vacs have been restarted. Max does bark sometimes when meeting new people but after a few treats he’s absolutely fine, he’s lacking in socialisation but this is being worked on daily and he’s doing very well. Max loves to go for...
  3. Nancy

Nancy was originally found in a shed full of faeces with her 7 very young pups. She was removed by the RSPCA and fortunately for her, the owners never came forward. This lovely girl is now 6 years old and is of course now spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Nancy is...

  9. Hunny

  10. Jerry Lee

Jerry Lee is a big strapping lad. We were asked by another rescue if we could take this lad in as he was with an older couple who could not manage him. He was fine with dogs until one day he got attacked and so to avoid the problem, his...

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
