1. Boo

This lovely girl is 4 year Boo. Her current owners got her from a breeder in Wales when she was 2 years. They believe she has not been bred from. Boo’s family have worked very hard with her to overcome many issues such as seperation anxiety, nervousness and barking. She arrived...
  2. Milo

Gorgeous boy Milo is 2 years old, good with children, dogs and confident cats. He’s a typical shep, very vocal when someone knocks at the door but is fine when he has said hello and settles down immediately. He walks well on his halti and has good recall and knows...
  3. Ernie

May we introduce the handsome Ernie. Ernie has been taken into foster where he appears to be settling in very well. We believe Ernie is about 7 years young and he is currently entire. Unknown with children and cats but seems fine with other dogs in the kennels. The assessor...

This handsome lad is 3 year neutered Rocky. His owner only had him about a year but was having to rehome him due to difficult neighbours. He had found Rocky on an ad in a local paper from a lady that had also only had him a year. Her youngest child apparently became...

  8. Archie

Archie is 3 and is neutered. This poor young lad has now been in foster for quite a while. This is what foster mum has written. Archie was a very nervous little boy which came out in aggression when I first picked him up he did want to nip me but as...
  9. Bak

This happy lad is 4 year entire Bak. Bak is currently with the RAF and was taken in to train up as a patrol dog, however he is unfit for service as he has been diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia on both sides. With proper management this should not prevent...
  10. Rosie

Rosie is 3 years and spayed. This lovely girl has been with her owners since a pup along with her sister. Rosie greeted our assessor very vocally but was soon wanting a fuss and bringing her ball to play. Rosie is a very intelligent young lady and eager to learn....

Why we do what we do

German Shepherd Rescue Elite was not only set up to help as many unwanted, abandoned and neglected German Shepherds as possible, but to also offer education to the general public on the responsibilities / pros / cons of owning a large working breed dog and to be able to offer help and advice so hopefully we can become the prevention for once instead of always being the cure.
